The double-sided map offers a very good representation of the relief by shading (level lines equidistant from 10m) and a very rich legend with the historical points of interest but also the climbing sites, canyoning or via ferrata, accommodation such as rural casa, shelters or not, campsites ...

The guide offers a general description of the Val d'Aran and lists the trails, paths of Petite and Grande Randonnée such as the GR 11 or the GR 211, or even the many mountain bike routes with a network of 400 km.

Finally the authors Miguel Angulo and Gorka Lopez, describe in detail 11 walks and hikes to the many estanys and lakes of the region and 11 climbs such as the Tuc d'Orla, Mal Peas, Pics of Amitose or Maubermé.
